On March 2nd, Fox News’ Tucker Carlson had former Trump adviser Stephen Miller appear on his show to talk about the current border situation under the Biden administration.
All Tucker had to do was ask his guest for his view of the situation. Miller immediately launched into an impassioned four-minute discourse on the state of the border. It was powerful!
(You can watch the interview here.)
Miller began by declaring, “Unquestionably, Tucker, we are in the midst of a crisis. And that crisis is entirely self-inflicted.”
The crisis is being caused by the Biden administration.
Miller (pictured) recounted the Trump administration’s accomplishments: “[W]e put into place a series of tools: Remain in Mexico, asylum deals with Central America that allowed us to return asylum seekers there so they could share in the burden, asylum reforms to block asylum fraud and public health measures collectively which ended catch and release; all those measures painstakingly implemented so that by the time we left, the border was under control, illegal immigrants were safely and humanely returned home, and the surge of minors, the surge of families, had stopped.”
These were great accomplishments.
But after recounting these Trump administration accomplishments, Miller reported that, “In four weeks’ time all of that has been undone.”
(It’s the Biden administration.)
Miller referred to the California vehicular accident in which an SUV full of illegal aliens (which had driven through a hole cut in the border fence) crashed: “You mentioned the 25 people in one SUV in a car crash, 13 of them dead reportedly. You know how you get 25 people in an SUV? I talk to border agents. The smugglers rip out the seats, they pile people on top of each other. They layer them. That’s how you fit 25 people in one SUV. Border agents see that kind of thing all the time.”
Then Miller uttered this statement which goes right to the heart of the matter: “We must stop romanticizing illegal immigration. It is cruel. It is wicked. It kills people.”
Amen to that.
Illegal immigration is routinely romanticized in the Mainstream Media and the political world (among both parties).
You’ve heard the narrative: the poor, persecuted, and noble illegal aliens, who are persecuted by the likes of Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, and US Incorporated.
Those of us who oppose illegal immigration catch some grief for it, and we are sometimes called bad names.
In reality, we are concerned for our country and our fellow Americans.
And, we are also concerned about the damage done to foreigners. Mass illegal immigration has negative consequences for many of the foreigners and their children who participate in it.
Under Biden, the border could become an even bigger humanitarian disaster than ever before.
Stephen Miller spoke about border smuggling gangs, who have cynically used, and probably will again, children and families to “divert border agents” so they can “send across contraband or criminals or large amounts of drugs.”
“And where do those drugs end up?” asks Miller.
“They end up in your schools, they end up where your children live, where your families go to work. People die. Lives are destroyed. Communities are wrecked.”
Miller discussed other problems now likely to worsen:
1. The trafficking of young children on the border.
2. Foreigners claiming to be “17” when they’re actually older, and who might actually get into American high schools.
3. “Vicious gangs like MS-13” committing crimes.
4. “Border agents, most of whom are not vaccinated, are being exposed every single day to large numbers of migrants.”
5. Failure of the government to “track where these minors are going. Over 90% of them will never appear in an immigration court, many of the sponsors themselves are here illegally, fake social security number, they don’t have health care, they can’t provide for the minors they’re supposed to be taking care of.”
In just four minutes, Stephen Miller explained the problems of the developing Biden Border, summarizing it with this conclusion: “It’s a calamity.”
