Ten years ago, specifically on December 14, 2010, U.S Border Patrol Agent Terry was fatally shot (in the line of duty in rural Arizona) with an AK-47 during an encounter with “border bandits” who were likely preying on illegal aliens.
Agent Terry, a military veteran who had also worked as a police officer in Michigan (his home state), was 40 years old at the time of his death. His family and friends set up an educational foundation to honor his work and his memory. His death also exposed Operation Fast and Furious. Brian Terry, a remarkable American patriot, is buried in Michigan Memorial Park.
