Several news outlets are finally, after years of neglect, giving adequate coverage to the epidemic of illegal alien crime in America. World Net Daily headline: “Illegal deported 4 times charged in sex attack on girl.” A Breitbart headline read “Police: Illegal Alien Suspects Charged After Allegedly Raping and Sodomizing 14-Year-Old Maryland High School Student.” The Daily Caller: Tucker Carlson Interviews Attorney From Firm Defending One of the Accused Rockville Rapists. Newsmax has a story. Townhall: “Awful – Gang Member Who Stabbed Two Women and Sexually Assaulted Two-Year Old Was Deported Multiple Times.”
Of course, CNN’s webpage has no mention of illegal aliens or “undocumented immigrant” crime. Buried on their page, it does mention that ICE is targeting “Sanctuary Cities.” MSNBC has nothing on their home page. A search of their website finds the week-old story of a judge telling ICE to say away from courthouses. MEDIAite, a darling website of the left, did have a link to the Tucker Carlson interview.
World Net Daily has done a respectable job over the years of reporting regularly and accurately on illegal immigration stories. However, I do want to take issue with the sub-title on the story of the four-times deported illegal who sexually molested the 2 year old: “Explosion of MS-13 gang violence terrorizing American communities.” There is no explosion of crime or sexual assaults by MS-13 or illegal aliens in general.
Illegal alien criminals have been committing the full range of crimes, from driving without a license, to child molestation, to rape, to murdering a family with an AK-47 for years. In addition to the most violent crimes: hit and runs, DUIs, vehicular manslaughter, criminal activities including gangs, including the drug business, extortion, welfare and voter fraud have been going on for years and have been steadily increasing with the influx of wave after wave of illegal aliens over the last 25 years from the Clinton Administration, increasing through the Bush Administration (even after the 9/11 attacks), and rapidly accelerating during the Obama Administration.
The rise in illegal alien crime is directly related to the number of illegal alien young men in our country. The “males under 28” demographic of all races and ethnicities, is most responsible for crime in America. Illegal alien crime has been dramatically growing for years, along with the illegal alien population, but has been largely ignored by the national media.
There is NO explosion of crime by illegal alien criminals. What we are seeing finally is an increase in national reporting on the most heinous (if it bleeds, it leads) crimes committed by illegal aliens. Thank the Trump Administration’s focus on the victims of illegal alien crimes for that.
Crime statistics have been manipulated for years to avoid the mention of illegal alien crimes, among other things. The FBI gets its national crime statistics from local police jurisdictions who have been underreporting crimes of all kinds for at least two decades.
The mayor and city council, at the behest of the local Chamber of Commerce, send the word down to the police chief that too much accurate reporting of crimes can hurt the city by dissuading businesses from opening, or giving people second thoughts about buying a house or otherwise living in a dangerous community.
It’s never official. The police aren’t told at their daily roll call, or ever in a written memo, to underreport crime. They are told in the locker room, the hallway, over coffee, or in the parking lot next to their cruiser as they begin their shift.
Writing down a felony grand theft auto (GTA) to a misdemeanor “theft from an automobile” is common.
If someone reports the theft of a laptop from their car, but there is no significant evidence of forced entry, it is not reported as a burglary.
At times, police officers are told not to engage in Code 3 pursuits within the last two hours of their shift. Code 3 pursuits can likely result in a felony arrest that takes on average about 4 hours to process with paperwork reporting. They don’t want to pay overtime to the officer who would otherwise be making the stop and arrest.
And when it comes to illegal alien criminals in many jurisdictions, especially so-called Sanctuary Cities, any surmise by the arresting officer that the suspect is an illegal alien goes unreported, for obvious reasons.
The annual FBI crime reports vastly understate the level of illegal alien crime in our country, because their reports are based on the watered down, whitewashed, in some cases fraudulent, underreporting by many local law enforcement agencies.
There is no explosion of illegal alien crime of any sort, just a steady, relentless increase of crimes and victims.
However, if average Americans who were never concerned about illegal immigration in the past perceive this reporting as an “explosion,” then they can add their voices to the rest of us who have been ringing the alarm bell about illegal alien crime for years.
