In a tremendous victory for the Trump Administration and immigration law enforcement, the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Wednesday, February 26, that the Justice Department has the power under the law to withhold federal grant money from sanctuary communities that refuse to share information and cooperate with ICE.
Liberal politicians, community leaders and news media will probably continue resisting immigration law enforcement, but this ruling helps to clear the air about the sanctuary issue. What part of the word ILLEGAL don’t some people understand regarding immigration?
