US Incorporated (US) is a tax-exempt educational foundation established in 1981 by the late Dr. John Tanton, an opthamologist and conservationist, which is based in scenic Petoskey, Michigan.  The organization undertakes a variety of projects to educate the public about the need for sustainable immigration reform, the conservation of natural resources, the impact of population on the environment, the importance of assimilation and national unity, and the need to promote and preserve English as our common language.

US has also served as an incubator and umbrella for start-up projects that later spin off to become fully independent organizations, or achieve their purpose. Currently, it carries on a core of immigration and population-related educational programs, while also supporting the wholly self-governing project ProEnglish which is based in Washington, D.C. and which advocates for making English the official language of government business.
