The evidence of illegal aliens voting in American elections is coming out and the numbers are mind boggling. There are wide ranges by analysts across the political spectrum, but anyone who denies that there is voter fraud involving illegal aliens when there are over 30 million illegals in our country is either a fool or corrupt. With so few jurisdictions requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote, or proof of I.D. when you show up to vote, voter fraud is inevitable. We just haven’t had a definitive study to determine how much voter fraud there is, or what the impact has been on elections, federal, state, and local.
Just Facts. A Resource for Independent Thinkers, has amazing research on a variety of issues important to America and Americans who wish to preserve our great nation. Immigration and voter issues are but two of the many issues of which they have compiled enormous amounts of data.
Electoral Issues – Political Patterns covers immigration and illegal voting. They report that fifteen years ago in 2002:
U.S. Government Accountability Office published an investigation of identity fraud committed by immigrants. It found that:
- “ the use of fraudulent documents by aliens is extensive.”
- “significant numbers of aliens unauthorized to work in the United States have used fraudulent documents to circumvent the employment verification process designed to prevent employers from hiring them.”
- “in November 1998 in Los Angeles,” immigration officials “seized nearly two million counterfeit documents, such as … permanent resident cards and Social Security cards, which were headed for distribution points around the country.”
No responsible person can believe that the situation has gotten better, or more secure, after the virtually wide-open borders we’ve had since then.
One survey suggests that up to 5.7 million illegal aliens could have voted in the 2008 election.
In May, the President signed an executive order creating a commission to try to determine the truth about illegal voting of all kinds. It is Chaired by Vice President Mike Pence, with Vice Chair, Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach. They intend to evaluate voter registration lists across the nation with names of dead people and multiple registrants.
Addressing voter fraud is just as important as addressing illegal immigration. Regarding the enforcement actions currently taking place any processing of illegal aliens for whatever purpose: arrest, sentencing, deportation action, issuing temporary visas, work permits, anything, should include a check to see if they are registered to vote, and if they have voted, when and how many times. If they have, they should be permanently banned from our country. With computers, the checks can be done at the speed of light.
The Public Interest Legal Foundation, which fights voter fraud, released one of its most comprehensive reports last month.
Its investigation found that Virginia removed more than 5,500 noncitizens from voter lists, including 1,852 people who had cast more than 7,000 ballots.
They further report:
“… that in the quarter century since President Bill Clinton signed his first law, the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), “chronic inaccuracy and [a] lack of integrity in the voter rolls” has become the “most significant problem facing America’s electoral process.”
Attempting to fix this corrupt system will result in shrieks of protest from the end-users of illegal aliens and the beneficiaries of illegal alien voter fraud. We’ll know how near the investigations are to exposing the culprits, and there are many, because as they get close to the heart of the matter the protests will get louder, possibly violent. Let the investigation begin.
